I've had my previous matress pal about 20 years and thought I had better change tried my new 4.6 double British wool medium in a shop and found it great so ordered one slept on it a few nights now and very happy

This mattress is deep! So it is ideal if you are tall like me and want a mattress to lift above the foot-board. It is also heavy at over 60kg, so I would recommend thinking about your rout to the bed for it. That being said it is really comfortable, and the build quality is evident. The 2000 pocket springs mean great support, and no more one person rolling towards the other because the mattress is dipping there. Still early days (or nights to be specific) but fantastic undisturbed sleep, and my back is already improving after making the mistake of buying a mattress in a box previously. Very satisfied.

We have recently purchased a "British Wool 2000 Pocket Medium Mattress"; we are really pleased with the mattress, it appears to be well made and is very comfortable and supportive. We would definitely recommend this mattress for a good nights sleep.

Had a memory mattress for years, my neighbour had a wool mattress and said it was brilliant. After some research i decided to go for it, best thing i did. Arrived on time, delivery company very good. High recommend this mattress.

This was a great buy and we wished we had bought ii. Very comfortable bed, resulting in no more back pain which was the main reason for buying a new mattress. Best nights sleep for a long time. Would definitely recommend .

Mattress is a good deep depth. Cover is good quality. I slept very well since buying this mattress. There is a bit of settlement in the middle of the mattress, and I am only slim. This may correct itself with regular turning. For couples I would order the medium, but this softer version suits me better.

I bought this British Wool Softer Mattress after I had a Rest Assured mattress some years ago. After reading about the hypoallergenic factors as I've very severe asthma with allergic component I thought this would be a good buy, as well as I'm severely disabled. What with the reputation of the company and Good Housekeeping it seemed that it would be positive all around. After the delivery yesterday I was surprised on the depth which is certainly over 30cm. It's dual sided as I thought it would last longer if turned / flipped rather than rotated. However I have a rest assured base and at 5ft 3 I needed a small stool to get onto it which disgruntled me. When I got into it it was CERTAINLY NOT SOFT, not even medium and I'd say with confidence it's firm to firmer!!! My partner prefers firmer but even he thinks its more than firm and we both didn't sleep a wink last night. As a superking I'd sell it off if it could be collected and take a large drop in the money I paid, I feel that disappointed, words I can't print on here but really..... off. I'm absolutely gutted in reality that I've paid hundreds of pounds for a mattress that doesn't fit its description, as stated in description and specifications at all, and I've had Rest Assured as well as Harrison Spinks matresses. I bought it from an online company and please can I say don't be fooled by words Softer!!! as you mights well imagine lying on a slab of concrete if that's what you would like

Just received our new Idyll double mattress. What quality and extremely comfortable. Made us think we should have replaced our mattress ages ago. Although it is described as 'soft' in the shop, which got us a bit worried, it is anything but and a good night sleep was had by all. Thank you Rest Assured

The delivery went smoothly and the delivery men were professional and very helpful. Our first night on our lovely new mattress was a revelation... we slept all night, no aching backs or restlessness. I just wish that we had bought this mattress a while ago, why did we leave it so long? Highly recommended!

Purchased this to replace similar Rest-assured mattress that had given us more than14 yrs exemplary service. Six weeks hence-after regularly turning,it has"settled"down perfectly living up to our high expectations. Will definitely be buying again from this range.

I purchased the rest assured pocket wool 2000 medium. It is the best mattress by far that I have ever had, my sleep is amazing, it’s so comfortable. The medium firmness is just right.

I have spent my first night of bliss on my wool 2000 firm mattress and I can only say - 'FANTASTIC'. This replaced my old Rest Assured 2000 mattress that I bought 15 years ago that has served me so well and is still going strong - in the spare room. I so loved this mattress and was overjoyed to find a similar spec so ordered it immediately and it has not disappointed. Just a beautiful firm but supportive mattress that is superbly made and looks quality too. I love that it is British made and handcrafted and it just makes me feel that I have made an informed choice that will last for years. Thank you Rest Assured and heres to the next 15 years of great sleep and peace of mind knowing that I have bought quality. If you are looking for a new mattress be 'rest assured' that you are buying the best!!

After a false and disappointing start purchasing mattress from another supplier, it was a delight to receive our new Rest Assured mattress. It's beautifully firm and supportive, yet comfortable and luxurious. Perfect for couples with one partner significantly heavier than the other. The 2000 pocket springs prevent any kind of 'roll together'. I suffered with lower back pain for a long time and this mattress has all but eradicated it when i wake up. The natural fillings provide an even temperature. I really can't fault it at all, and will certainly come back to Rest assured should we need another mattress. Absolutely worth every penny.

This mattress is a dream we have slept so well since we had it , not too firm like our old one . I would say the balance is just right just enough snuggling in that you need for the ooohh feeling . Nice and deep and pure comfort, I now don’t want to get out of bed . I would certainly recommend this mattress .

I first came across the British Wool Collection when I was in Dublin working. I had some time to spare and ended up in a department store checking out mattresses (a busman's holiday, considering what I do for a living). I tried out about 20 different mattresses, ranging in cost from economy to second-mortgage value. As soon as I lay on this mattress, however, I knew it was perfect for me (the true marker was that I did not want to get off it)! When I got home I knew I had to get one, and did. I have had the mattress now for nearly a month and it has exceeded every single expectation I have had and I am very picky about anything related to my sleep. It is more than comfortable, it is exceptional and it really does give me a great night's sleep. I could not be happier with it...

Brillant Mattress. After years of uncomfortable sleep because of a Chronic Back Pain, this mattress from day one was like sleeping in heavens. I will never regret this purchase. It's warm and comfortable. All in one top the British cream.

Recently purchased the medium mattress from the british wool collection and it is incredibly comfortable. I have been waking up for years with a stiff back every morning (I'm only in my 20's!) and since sleeping on my new mattress that is nearly all gone. I possibly should have gotten the firm one instead but still the best sleep I've had in a long time, even if my toddler comes in my bed at night I still get a good sleep as the mattress doesn't bounce around with all her wriggling and moving around. Would highly recommend to anyone looking to replace their old mattress.

This mattress is amazingly comfortable and supports the whole body. I think my sleep quality has really gone up with it. Its great knowing that its made of natural materials and has all the great benefits of wool. I'm sure being made in Britain with British wool must be good for the planet too.

Recently installed this king size wool mattress with a matching ottoman divan and headboard (see separate review). Took three reasonably strong blokes to get the mattress upstairs (who needs gym membership??) but once in place it was just what the doctor ordered. Both my wife and I suffer with back and joint pain and so far we have slept very well and awoken refreshed each day. Combination of divan and mattress is quite high so new, tall bedside cabinets are now required and maybe a stepladder or springboard to assist with the ascent from floor to mattress. Very pleased and looking forward to bedtime.

Worst bed I’ve ever had! So uncomfortable and now I am finding where we sleep there are significant dips in the mattress, the middle has a raised area and now when sleeping in the bed, I feel I am dipping. I hate this bed and would not recommend it at all.

After trying out many mattresses in the shops, this one came out the best for us , and have slept on it now for 3 nights , the husband loves it. I'm still adjusting , but it is very comfortable and has a luxurious feel. It is a very heavy mattress and we will see how we manage to rotate it. looking forward to enjoying many nights of sweet dreams.

I do so hate to make a complaint so early into a new year, but needs must. I purchased a rest assured bed with 1400+ Pocket springs in October 2017 and since it has caused me endless problems. It seems to have a magnet in the mattress and I no longer can get up in the morning and my constant backache has gone! I no longer feel as if I’m on a trampoline when my husband moves in bed during the night and I am late for all my appointments. I have generally been thrown into a very lazy state of mind!! This is a superior mattress, it's really deep and supports the entire body . I suffer with a bad back and chose this mattress to help elevate aches and pains. So far it seems to be working . Both my husband and myself have noticed that we are sleeping better and we wake up more refreshed. The only negative that I can see is, the mattress is very heavy and it will be difficult to turn and rotate .

The mattress is very thick which really appealed to us in the store because we wanted to be higher up in bed. Myself and my husband both suffer from lower back pain so the mattress seemed ideal for this. We purchased the mattress with the Rest Assured Divan bed and Bennett Headboard. The divan and headboard are a lovely looking bed we are very pleased with the quality and the continental doors are a good feature. We have had the Divan and mattress for 4 weeks and are still getting used to sleeping on it. The first 2 weeks were bliss but both our lower back ache is starting to come back. Still giving it the benefit of the doubt because its such a good quality product. We are hoping our backs will adjust soon to the new mattress. Next time I think maybe I would opt for a Medium soft mattress rather than the medium.
