Travelodge aims for guests to sleep better

16/06/2011

The budget hotel operator Travelodge has partnered with the Sleep Health Foundation in an effort to help its guests sleep better, and to compete with rival budget hotel chains Premier Inn, Etap and others.

Dr. David Hillman, the chairman of the Sleep Health Foundation, has been appointed as Travelodge’s sleep expert. He will be co-ordinating sleep information and guidance that will made available through the hotel operator’s website, e-newsletters and social media platforms. Booklets on getting a good night’s sleep will also be made available in Travelodge reception areas.

A ‘dream tea’ will also be available from the reception of every Travelodge.

Rachel Argaman, chief executive officer of Travelodge said: "Whether you're on holidays or on a business trip, the Travelodge team knows how important it is to wake up feeling refreshed, revitalised and ready to tackle the day ahead."
