Ritual advised for light sleepers

A report has suggested to people who find it hard to get to sleep need a good bedtime ritual.

The You Doctors said in a piece in the Idaho Statesman there are a significant number of reasons why people may not be settling down properly.

Problems can include too much caffeine being consumed during the day, which can stay in the system for hours and keep a person wide.

Experts have suggested people try not to have any caffeine at all after lunch and to try meditation or a bath before going to bed.

Removing equipment on the bedroom such as televisions and computers and mobile phones may also help.

Helium.com recently said getting to sleep on warm summer nights may be made easier by following a few simple tips such as chilling bed linen in the fridge.
