Nicole Scherzinger is perhaps more famous for replacing Cheryl Cole on the judging panel of the American X Factor than she ever was as one of the Pussycat dolls. Now it seems her elevated fame is impacting on her sleep, as the singer has admitted she rarely gets a good night of shut-eye before she gives a performance. In an interview with the Capital FM website, she said: "Who needs sleep? When I perform I like just like to leave it all out there on the floor." The singer also said she expected the X Factor to be “full throttle”. Speaking to another publication, Heat, Scherzinger said she had been surprised at the media storm surrounding Cole’s sudden departure from the American X Factor and her own subsequent appointment as judge: ‘”My take is – I was happy to be a part of the show and accept the role of the host, because I believe in Simon, I believe in X Factor,” she said.
