Doing this is important as it will relax the body and mind making going to bed one of the more enjoyable experiences of the day. A quiet and peaceful home would go a long way in achieving a restful night. This does not only apply to children - everyone needs their rest to be able to function at their highest level. Parents should take advantage of the free time when the children are in bed to relax before sleep. Jessica Alexander from The Sleep Council said that it was not unusual nowadays for couples to sleep in separate beds . They were realising that in today’s stressful lifestyle, a good night sleep was essential. She further added that sleeping in twin beds was no longer just for people with relationship problems.
