Experts have said new pillows can be an important ingredient in a good night's sleep, and can even ease aches and pains.Cornell University professor Dr James Maas, talking on behalf of United Feather and Down, has looked at sleep patterns for four decades. He said people can try a simple test to see what their need is.He explains: "Fold your pillow in half and squeeze out the air. Release the pillow. If it goes back to its original shape, it's fine. If not, it's time for a new pillow."Dr Maas also said people buying new pillows should look for something that matches their sleeping style to provide the best support.Dorm Decor 101 recently advised students to splash out on new pillows before heading off to university to make sure they get a good night's sleep.
