One of the things that all of us do but about which few have a deep understanding is dreaming. However recent research suggests that one third of us dream about work more than any other subject. This was revealed by the Premier Inn hotel chain who said that their research showed many people thought about the long hours, heavy workloads and work colleagues as they tried to get to sleep. The poll showed that 20 per cent had regular dreams about their boss and 25 per cent dreamed of a colleague with whom they had clashed that day. A Premier Inn spokesperson said that it was not surprising that work was so often in our dreams considering the amount of time people spent at their jobs. The statistics also showed that 50 per cent of Brit’s dream less about celebrities than they do about colleagues and most of them had dreams every night. The recollections of their dreams did not make sense according to 52 per cent and 60 per cent said they would like to have a better understanding of what they mean.
