People shopping for a new mattress have been told they should prioritise comfort over cost.The price tag is what too many of us look at first, Buffalo News suggested, but this is not the way that we should look at things when purchasing something on which we will be spending around a third of our day.Jack Kaminska, president of City Mattress, said: "It's no different than any other product - appliances, electronics, sporting goods. "As you pay more, there are a lot of bells and whistles that add benefits. It all depends on how much you want to invest."The article went on to point out that purchasing a mattress can be a very personal endeavour, and once you find one that suits you, you are unlikely to want to spend any more money.The padding that sits atop mattresses and is what sets the comfort level, may prove to be one of the primary differences between mattresses, the piece added.The website lonad.com had an article recently which stated that mattresses should be matched to ones personal requirements so that it delivers maximum support and comfort.
