In an article for the Times Colonist homeowners were advised to revitalise a bedroom with a splash of colour.According to Leanne Brownoff, colour themes can perfectly harmonize with simple modern furniture lines, though she added that it was important to keep the main fabric one solid colour.Brownoff went on to say that "Contrasting colours and patterns can be added in small amounts, in areas like accent pillows and artwork."She then recommended using either bedding in chartreuse or burnt orange on wooden beds.Carolyn Park, an interior designer highlighted the fact that, due to its versatile nature, wood is a very popular choice for bedroom furniture. Wooden furniture is particularly popular at the top end of the market, she added, highlighting the recognised quality in wooden furniture among homeowners.
