Stowaway beds, perfect for children's sleepovers

21/04/2011

When youngsters have friends to stay, sleeping arrangements sometimes prove difficult. Space is usually scarce, although there are ways around the problem. Getting hold of some cheap beds , whether in the form of futons or bunk beds, is the best way to tackle this problem.

Both inexpensive and space-saving, futons can be folded out into a bed and returned to normal when needed. Similarly, bunk beds are a great way to make both room and an alternate place to sleep for youngsters and their friends.

Additionally, sofa beds are a popular choice, as they create a nice, colourful piece of furniture for your child's room, or a play room, while providing their friends with somewhere to sleep, without having to panic over sleeping arrangements.

It is important that children are in the right state of mind when bedtime arrives and reading a bedtime story is perhaps one of the best ways to get a child ready to go to sleep. Equally important is the environment in which they are sleeping. A quiet, dark room is most conducive to sleep.
