A hotel company has introduced 'sleep wardens' to ensure guests get a good night's bed rest.Travelodge says they will be in 383 of its branches across the UK from 8pm and remain on duty all night.People making noise and unduly disturbing guests will be asked to leave if they fail to keep quiet following warnings.Leigh McCarron, the firm's sleep director, said: "Our new sleep wardens are the very first guardians of a good night's sleep."Their special mission is to monitor noise levels and ensure our guests can sleep easy."The company also says it has altered delivery times at its hotels to minimise the chances of disturbance to its guests.Travelodge has also published research which suggests the average Briton gets six hours and 21 minutes of sleep per night, less than the eight hours recommended by some experts.
