Going to bed in the nude appears to be gaining popularity in China, according to reports.Wei Na and Chen Dujuan examined the issue for the Global Times, pointing out how Marilyn Monroe was known to wear only Chanel No 5 perfume when sleeping.The habit is now taking off in China, with supporters asking why clothing is even necessary when in bed.Wei Na said: "I saw news that Hong Kong star Cecilia Cheung liked sleeping naked and she said that's a healthy way of sleeping, so I tried. Later, I got used to that and found it really helped sleeping comfortably."Naked sleeping models were part of a recent photoshoot involving Lady Gaga, who gave a nod to the themes of the classic German film Metropolis, which first appeared in 1927.
