Dozens of people have taken part in a mass pillow fight which came about with the help of social networking.About 40 people turned up to York's Museum Gardens for the event, which was arranged through website Facebook. Thomas Rychlik, a 15-year-old who took part, told the York Press: It's a really good way to break down social barriers and engage with people who you wouldn't normally meet."The event is part of the now-notorious flash mob phenomenon, involving groups of strangers arriving at a location to take part in an event, before quickly dispersing. The pillow fight in York lasted for five minutes and was declared a success after last year's effort was scuppered by police who turned up and asked people not to take part.Officers feared the gathering would cause disorder, but this year's event passed without incident.
