Simple, well-planned changes can help somebody to overhaul a bedroom without splashing the cash, one interior design expert has said.Karen Blissenbach, member of the American Society of Interior Designers (ASID) told CTW Features simply swapping the trim or accents in bed linen and paint can create a good effect without costing a fortune.She recommended putting together a 'master plan' early on, paying attention to details such as pillows, picture frames, and other items to create an overall feel with the bed as a centrepiece.Ms Blissenbach said: "If you have a situation where there are permanent shades, maybe in the winter months, add drapes; and in the summer and spring months, go with sheer."ASID aims to promote design skills across America. It was established in 1975 and is the world's biggest and oldest professional organisation for interior designers.
