Q: We have king size Adagio 1400 ortho mattress we find this to soft as I have now developed major back problems. Can you recomend a replacement one that will not disturb us if one of us turns over many thanks could you reply. Question from Bruce Ballett
As you have developed a skeletal problem we suggest that you consult your specialist or GP before making your next purchase, as we are not medical experts.
We can advise you that the higher the spring count in our mattresses the firmer they tend to feel and a mattress with the term “ortho” is one of the firmest in the range.
Comfort is very subjective and we always recommend that you try before your buy. A mattress that is too firm leaves parts of the body unsupported, creating pressure points on the parts of the body that are in contact with the mattress. A soft mattress may feel very comfy initially, but a mattress that is too soft will allow the lower back to sink into it too far, throwing the spine out of alignment.
