Up to 12 months from purchase
If you have purchased a Rest Assured mattress or divan set (matching mattress & base), in the unlikely event that a problem should arise due to either faulty material or poor workmanship, during the first year from purchase we promise to replace or repair any part, or all of the product that is defective completely free of charge.
Between 12 months & 5 years from purchase
In subsequent years, a sliding scale of charges based on usage plus transport costs comes into effect as follows:
1 to 2 years
20% of current retail value or repair price plus transport costs
2 to 3 years
40% of current retail value or repair price plus transport costs
3 to 4 years
60% of current retail value or repair price plus transport costs
4 to 5 years
80% of current retail value or repair price plus transport costs
Warranty Conditions
Under the law, the Contract of Sale exists between the retailer/store and the consumer. Consequently, any claims made under this guarantee must, in all circumstances, be made through the retailer from whom the bed was purchased. Please ensure you retain your receipt as proof of purchase. In the event of a complaint, the retailer will liase with Rest Assured on your behalf.
This guarantee applies only to goods purchased from an authorised retailer of Rest Assured products in the UK & Eire and, in all instances, applies to product only where it has been used and maintained in accordance with the manufacturers guidelines and instructions. Please ensure that you read and comply with these Warranty Conditions and all Care Instructions from the booklet "Caring for your Bed" that was delivered with your bed.
Rest Assured reserves the right to:-
- Request a 3rd party inspection of products before agreeing to carry out repairs/replacements.
- Substitute materials or products of a comparable or higher quality if identical materials or products are not available
- Refuse service if the fault in a product is due to causes other than poor workmanship or faulty materials.
- Refuse to handle any product that is in an unsanitary condition or has been abused.
With regard to motors and handsets only, the above guarantee applies for two years from date of purchase.
This guarantee does not affect your statutory rights.
