I am trying to compare a Rest Assured Venitian Microquilt double mattress with 924 springs and microquilt cover with a Rest Assured Double (1000) Pocket Orthopaedic Mattress (with actually 840 springs!) and tufted damask cover - are you able to explain the difference in these two products MacGregor: These two mattresses are not comparable. The Venetian microquilt available from Argos will have a completely different feel to the Pocket Orthopaedic which will feel much firmer. This can be attributed to the traditional hand-tufting, This effect is created by threading tapes, at regular intervals, through the mattress to prevent the movement of the fillings inside. The quality tufts are secured and well protected with a felt washer.
