- Hello,
I am seeking help. I have just purchased a sleepeeze cool comfort 1400…pocket springs…plus memory foam. No doubt it is a splendid mattress, but for me it is a disaster. The problem is the memory foam, it makes me sweat profusely, and I now sleep in the spare room to ensure a decent sleep.
I am a 73 year old male weighing ten stone, am fit and well, and sleep in a double bed on my own. I am a side sleeper, never on my back, and change sides from time to time. I have used a pocket sprung mattress for decades, and slept wonderfully. It is now showing its age, hence the reason for the change.
I am looking for a double pocket sprung mattress, probably natural fibres, to go on a double divan base. From reading your advice, the fact that I am a side sleeper, suggests the choice of a mattress with a degree of give.
You know your products, please select from your range the ones that you think will be suitable for me, and I shall view these in the stores which handle them. I have no wish to waste another £ 400, so I will be more cautious in my choice this time.
Many thanks for your help.

We have a wide variety of products available all with different comfort layers, althougth these are man made fibres now. For a firmer bed go for the higher spring counts. Latex is an alternative to memory foam. Our new Innergetic Latex contains thousands of bubbles that are literally energy giving. It also has unique elasticity, giving a natural bounce that helps you move freely for healthy sleep. Innergetic Latex provides instant pressure relief and total comfort, so you’ll wake up refreshed and ready for anything. As a starting point we would suggest the Pocket 1400 latex Silver Moon.
