Hi, we recently slept on a RA pocket latex ortho in a B&B and had the best nights sleep ever. Hence we now wish to purchase a mattress similar. We tried a Capri-with latex in Dreams-sadly they couldnt sell it without the divan bedstead. We have looked online and want to know the difference between the Adlington ortho, latex and memory foam sold from Tesco direct and also the Hartwell latex and the Hartwell ortho. We are aiming for a firmness rating of 2 or firm. Also is it possible to buy a mattress without the latex topping and buy this separately-would doing this affect the comfort much in comparison to a latex mattress? Many thanks
Laura Smith

We no longer manufacturer a latex ortho model.

The Capri is a 1400 pocket sprung mattress with latex.  If you like the feel of this we suggest you also try the Madeira, Siam and Silver Moon.  All will have a very similar feel to the Capri.

The Adlington ortho has been designed to give a firmer feel to that of the other mattresses in the Adlington range.  Memory foam works with your natural body heat, it moulds to your curves to relieve uncomfortable pressure points.  Our new natural latex gives you cushioned support and great pressure relief but, unlike memory foam, it doesn't need body heat to be activated.

Again, the Hartwell ortho is designed to be more firm that the Hartwell Latex.

We do manufacture products without latex as you will see on our website, these are the Classic mattresses.  Adding any kind of topper to a mattress will give it a different feel.
