- We have just ordered a sprung slatted bed base and a Mimosa 1400 mattress and are concerned that the two might not be the best match. We already have an identical bed base with a Julia mattress, and were advised that the Mimosa was the most similar to the Julia. Our concern stems from the fact that the Julia was labelled 'Bedstead Mattress' and the Mimosa is not. Your advice would be welcome before we take it up with the supplier.

We believe the Julia mattress you are referring to had 1000 springs whereas the Mimosa mattress you are considering has 1400 springs, so the two will feel different. The Mimosa mattress is double sided so it will need to be turned over and rotated regularly.
