- Thinking of getting a bed through Costco. My wife loves an electric under blanket to warm the bed before we get in it. What are your recommendations in relation to these newer top finishes eg. latex or memory foam?

Follow the instructions supplied with the electric blanket and you will be able to use it with all our mattresses including those topped with latex and memory foam.

Thank you for this reply, but it is a little too vague as the blankets we have in the house pre-date the use of memory foam and latex in top layers of pocket sprung beds. I really need to know whether the heat producd by ordinary use of an electric blanket will in some way damage the top layers that means we should really be looking at other kinds of mattresses.
