- I bought a 5ft bed and mattress from Home Designs,Kendal, in June 2007 and it has been lovely with a special top built into the mattress, very comfortable. I had to move to a lower flat nearly 2 years ago and as I am 78 and losing mobility, I will now have to sell the hardly used bed. I know it had a fire safety label somewhere but I can't find it. There is a special quilted label on the top of the mattress at the bottom end, but nothing about fire safety guarantee.Where can it be?

The fire retardent regulations for domestic use changed again in 2008 so although your mattress may have had a fire retardent label at the time of purchase it will now be out of date.
